In a recent log with Bastet, she has taken up getting high. I know she lost a lot of people close to her in short order, but from what I know of Yoruichi, I pictured her taking things out by punching trees in half or hitting the bar more often. Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you how you should play your character, but I am curious as to the precedent for her new "extracurricular activity". Was something handwaved that an observer might not know about, or is there something in canon pointing to her possibly choosing to toketake this up?

Marijuana is the least of anyone's worries; there's worse junk out there! Alcoholism can be a serious and scary thing and, in my opinion, never played out too well in fiction anyway. I apologize for picking your brain, but thank you for letting me in on your line of thinking. It clears up my confusion and I'm interested to see how things go from here.

I feel bad for Bastet.

Yeah, I rarely see it written out well, and it's personally not an area I want to explore with her. XD She has enough issues, I think, and as she's always come across as one of the more emotionally healthy/stable characters in Bleach, I'd like to stay true to that as I play her out.

As far as how it goes from here, I don't anticipate this being a huge plot point or thing that she's known for--it might be alluded to from time to time in the future, but I'd rather not run it into the ground. XD And no apologies needed--I'm glad I was able to clarify.

Yeah, her life kinda sucks. XD But she's still chugging along, anon, and will until I can't manage her anymore. But she would appreciate the sentiment!(even as she shrugged it off XD)
