Not necessarily. It's a stupid, unnecessary risk. The ants made it down last time by hitching a ride with someone who went back up into the Tree.

If an ant does make it down here, it'll likely be just that--one ant. More easily dealt with than an entire group, which is what you'd be facing up in the Tree.
