I do plan to keep chugging along during the hiatus, though. LOTS of Batcave stuff, probably. And whatever else the Muse hurls at me. And I agree with you: most of the writers whose fic made me squee with delight have moved on. I understand WHY, but it's still sad and disappointing.
Oh, yes, I know. I'm a little disappointed that you don't like Benny, because I think you would write him well.
I find the whole state of things recently disappointing. Some of it has to do with the show, but much of it has to do with the fandom, perceptions and expectations in the fandom, and just, blah. (Will answer your e-mail soon.)
Hmm. I have a lot on my plate right now, but I admit I want Dean & Benny fic enough to maybe give a short piece a go. Benny would be really fun to write, and their dynamic is fantastic.
Dean and Benny I got nothing, but I'd write some Cas in Pergatory because it could deal with redemption and repentance and it would shut off the "Sam as Dante in "The Inferno" bunny that's tapping at my leg.

I'll ponder Emma...

And I think you know that if you're going to write fic, you have an unfinished ficcie that needs some attention. ;-)
But if Emma sparks your imagination, have at.
