Costuming made easy

Do you recognize the eyes?Because we didn't go to the costume party this year, I didn't costume. Which is kind of okay because the ideas I had would have taken several months at least to put together (and would need the acquisition of appropriate props. I wanted us to go as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett. The other was hunters, which would also ( Read more... )

I didn't do the costume thingy this year either. (Though I have a Vampira wig and Werewolf mask and claw gloves stashed away for last minute needs) Halloween kinda slipped away from me this year. My friends were going to come up so we could hit all the haunted sites 'round town but then everyone got sick, broke, or just bogged down and busy. I didn't even have Trick or Treaters this year even though it's all kids on my street....

Does that mean my house is now THAT house. The one house on the block all the kids are too scared to go to and their parents warn them away from??? Hmmmm..... KEWL!! :-)!!

According to Gino, Danneel's brother, the haunted house was in Canada. Also, didn't know if you had seen this from Gino on YouTube (he said it could be reposted). Glimpse of Jensen and Danneel at about 0:45 mark. He said it was from last month for his mom's birthday.

Yes, I kind of figured the haunted house was in Canada. From the looks of Danneel's pictures, Danneel celebrated with the usual suspects in L.A., while Jensen did his haunting up north. If I'm not mistaken, it actually kind of looks like Jensen took that picture of himself, then sent it the missus.

I had not seen that vid. Thanks so much! I really like it for multiple reasons:

1. I love N'Awlins jazz music. I brought back memories of the one trip I've made to the Big Easy . . . many years ago, my mom and dad and I went with some friends to Mardi Gras. (My mom and dad had been a couple times before, as when my bro was in H.S. marching band, the band marched in parades a couple of years. Mom and Dad went as chaperones. Anyway . . .)

2. I love seeing Jensen as a regular guy doing regular guy things. It's so nice to be reminded that the people I admire from afar are, hey, real people, too.

Yeah, you can tell he took his own pic. : )

I took my mom and Ariel to New Orleans when Ariel was 10. My mom was in a workshop for Guidepost Magazine and didn't want to make the drive herself. We had a great time listening to street performers, visiting the cathedral, sampling the local cuisine, and going to a HUGE flea market.
