Channing in Cannes

Channing is in Cannes now promoting his Vodka. He was interviewed by Cosmopolitan (video). They asked him a lot questions about his family, his daughter, his wife and his sex life. (I guess Cosmopolitan readers are into that sort of topics) But some also asked him a few tough questions, such as his opinions on porn and the Stanford rapeHe was asked

Very interesting.
He doesn't change : he is still wise and grateful regarding fame.
I wish he could get his Gambit project working. At the very least, there are several people in the Comic Universe who root for him. That's quite a feat.

Yup. I wish he can do Gambit just because he have been working on it for so long. Also his TV projects seem to take off, I will write about it in another post

I liked his interviews. I feel like he just knows the right things to say to women. He's not a douchebro. His thoughts on strip clubs were interesting, that men go for just animalistic reasons but I think on some level they go for a self esteem boost. here are hot girls that are hitting on them (well soliciting them for lap dances but that is part of the fantasy) that they can turn down if they feel like it. It takes the pressure off of them where they feel that have to be the chasers. So just like in Magic Mike where the ladies were "queens", in a strip club men go to feel like kings.

Several parts of this interview are actually quite interesting, e.g. where he revealed that Jada Pinkett Smith told him "once you raised kids with someone for 10 years, there is no one in the world you would go to war with first" or something like that. But I really don't want Channing to follow the way The Smiths raise their kids ;p
