A bit of random, possibly uncollected and in all likely-hood WRONG thoughts on last nights LOST…

The weird experience that Charlie had could be the "sickness" that Danielle warned them about.

Locke punching Charlie so many times was uncalled for. And of course he wouldn't destroy the heroin, because they have to keep the possibility of him becoming a junkie again. And it looks like Locke will take Charlie's "place" with Claire, maybe not romantically (please god no), but in friendship, and caring for the baby. And strange that Claire would have herself and the baby baptised, after seeming to ignore Charlie's warnings.

I have mixed feelings about this episode, but mainly I hope that Charlie doesn't fade into being a minor character again.

Oh ... damn - I didn't consider the 'sickness'. That would kinda suck, seeing as how theres no cure and all. Stupid Island.

I know - Claire slapping him seemed pretty called for, but I actually cringed when Locke decked him - and not one person stepped up to stop him. Hell, they didn't even let Sawyer get beat up that bad without interference, and everyone hated Sawyer back then. And yeah...I was all 'awww...good ole' Jack will be Charlie's friend' there at the end...wanted to slap him myself when I realized he was just securing his own future...man - this whole episode was just hard to watch.

And yeah - why the fuck is Locke taking his place - why Locke? It's just weird and like I siad, I can't help but feel like something is up with him, and YES - dammit, they better not let this story just fade to black - I want some freakign answers, and some explantions...and I want them QUICK!!!

There's been times when the 'visions" caused by the "sickness" or whatever it may be, led to some good... like when Jack followed his "father", and was led to fresh water, and the caves. So, maybe the "sickness" is not all bad. Or, it could be both good and bad.

You brought up some really good points. And you're right... the epi was hard to watch.

And what is up with Locke, and him taking Charlie's place? Are they setting it up for Charlie to have even more reasons to want to become a junkie again, when he starts freaking out from jealousy? I bet that Charlie will find those drugs, hide them where even Locke can't get his hands on them and plot to get Claire back. That is, if he doesn't fade into the background again. And, I miss Charlie and Claire being friends. And peanut butter. And the first season episodes!

Oh, love that picture of Dom. He looks so surprised/innocent.

Yesterday we had the episode where we follow Ana-Lucia, where the two groups meet.

I don't think I'm going to like this episode of Lost....

Yeah - it's a flashback pic and he just looks so....clean - like all his dreams hadn't been smashed to pieces yet.

I know what you mean though - I've been waiting all freaking season for them to do something 'real' with Charlie and now that they finally did....well...it was just really hard to watch.

btw - your icon is hysterical!

I suspect they're setting up Locke to pull another fast one without telling anybody what he's about. Right now he's after the baby, which is one of the major mysteries that they haven't recently paid attention to. If that's the case, then he wasn't out of character. And he may very well have gone overboard with Charlie to try to keep him away from the baby. I'm not even sure that he thinks Charlie was using.

The diapers? Oh man. Trouble is that you can't see the shape of the butt through them.

Liam's a jerk.

I think that Claire was in character. Charlie was 'good' when rescuing her, but has become more and more set off because she doesn't know that she wants to get as close as he does. But she still listened to him, even though she didn't want him near the baby.

That's so true...I guess I had all the pieces, I just wasn't putting them together in any way that pointed toward Locke having something to do with the baby mystery. It always made me wonder why they set up this big elaborate story with Claire and the unborn baby and then just let it slowly slip away - as much as I would hate to have anything happen to the baby - I do hope you're right about them finally getting ready to explain a few things. And yeah - it did seem a bit unfair to jump to conclusions about Charlie using - and Locke definitely seemed out of his usual patient and always ready to offer the obvious/hidden explanation...however...if he had something up his sleeve....hmmmmm ( ... )

That episode of Lost may stand as the one I truly hate. Not because there was anything wrong with it, but because it was so hard to watch all that Charlie went through. That rotten, selfish Liam. Claire. And Locke, the bastard, who has gone from my favorite character to the one I hope gets eaten.

I can't believe that not one person stood by Charlie. I, for one, don't think he was on drugs, but was experiencing the island "speaking" to him as several others have. Sure, he acted inappropriately, but it broke my heart when everyone turned against him.

The only thing I will hold onto is that Dom said on Ellen that Charlie had to "fall" before he can be redeemed.

It really was a hard episode to watch, cause I was already feeling bad about Charlie being kicked out of Claire's little area to begin with. But everyone was just awful to him in this one. Yeah he did go a bit far, but the other survivors are NOT ones to judge him when it comes to going off the deep end. They're running around seeing horses and fathers, but when Charlie has a crazy but possibly foreboding dream, it's like he's a freak! Bastards ( ... )

Haaaa!!!! Yes - who broke into the 'free blue tarps for everyone' wherehouse? I wondered the same damn thing.Still, they must be easier to come across than those wild island chickens *snickers*.

This episode was SO hard to watch - I think everyone has chimmed in time and time again with perfect examples of how mistreated charlie was in comparison to how the others would have been treated if this was their freak out - its so awful and so unfair and the worst of is...he wasn't even using again. I could punch them all and feel great for it!

Anyways...they better give us some GOOD answers and REAL DAMN SOON - I don't think I can wait until the middle of next season for this to be resolved!!!

*stomps her foot and storms off*
