VICTORY!

Roger has no trouble making it through his 2nd round match with Hanescu. Which is good, because his 1st round match was totally WTF ROGER??. On to round 3 against Montanes.

So eff'ing pretty. How? How??

I haven't seen the match yet (I'll watch it tonight after work), but I've heard that Roger was playing very well. Hope it continues.

Is it just me, or are Roger and Rafa looking an awfully lot alike these days?

No, you're not the only one. In his previous match a girl shouted to Rafa : Nadal, will you marry me ? Rafa laughed and sort of waved the question away in exactly the same way Roger does when he gets applauded after a great point.

The more time goes by, the more you see a number of the same behaviour on court of Rafa like Roger always does. You're absolutely right here.

the interview with Jim and Roger after the match was wonderful...can't find it on youtube yet, but it went a long way to helping me like Roger again

it was the crying at last year's AO when he lost to Nadal...rather than being gracious toward the winner, he made it all about him by crying like a bitch...

when you are the "best in the world" at something, you need to behave accordingly...taking nadal's limelight (and microphone!) and crying like a 12 year old girl who didn't get her way, is unacceptable!

That's interesting. I thought I was the only fedal fan who wasn't 100% pro Roger, LOL! I didn't really mind the crying, because I felt he was overcome with emotions and just couldn't stop the tears. What made me less-than-enthusiastic about Roger was his interview afterward, when he wouldn't give credit to Rafa for winning. I then did some digging and found out that Roger frequently does not give credit to the winner when he loses. I still like him, but not as much as I used to. Guess you could say that I was blissfully ignorant before.
