Got a call on Friday from wascally_weasel, asking me to come and help him move a bike this weekend. Seemed he had been offered an old tandem in need of repair, and as Bryony wasn't about on Saturday, he needed someone to help transport it from Harrow to Norbiton

Sounds fun.

When I was volunteering at the Reading Blind Society I met a blind woman who was a regular cyclist. I asked her about this and yup, she was part of a club that cycled on tandems, with the sighted person in front to steer (obviously). I was very impressed.
