Hey!

I'm still on here with my lifetime membership, and I still read my friendslist even though it's five people and a bunch of feeds by now. I keep meaning to post here again, but the reason I posted here in the first place was for an audience/discussion, and that's all on Facebook now, short-form, trite, and unsatisfying though it may be. I'm also reading Tumblr, but although it's easier to post pictures there, that site allows for NO discussion.

Well first of all, that's a pretty awesome userpic.

But yeah, discussion? This is at the heart of the things I miss about LiveJournal. I miss the fact that it's more text and less pictures.

This platform does a better job of what I want from my social media.

Things are things. I try not to get too depressed most of the time.

I'm back in Oklahoma these days. Contemplating a Chicago visit one of these days when my Brewers play the Cubs.
