Oh good impossible gravy!! I have less than 24 hours to finish my story!! Help!

I'm taking a brief break to post the next small chunk of my story. It's just a little snippet, like the other recent ones, which is probably good...because I need to get back to writing.

Just so people know, I am planning on continuing to write my story after NaNo ends...

Good impossible gravy? Sounds like something the vintage Robin would say to Batman. I'm feeling frantic along with Blue. He is so real. I'm worried for him. I know he is wise for his young age, but I now fear that he may never grow up.

I'd make a comment about the impossible gravy, but I've been beaten to it. ;)

I love the way you revealed the relationship to Blue. Hannah's disgust and distance is so clear... and it wrenches the heart when you watch Blue have to find out that way. Especially the line where Hannah says "What about Dad?" It's like a knife, stabbing.

I also like how the scene circles around. How, in the beginning, Blue's mind is so free to see white marble instead of bright building blocks... but in the end, he's lost that peace and clarity so that he is just stuck with this horrible reality.

You make his world so real. I'm a little terrified to see what you and Steve came up with. :-/
