I'm taking a brief break to post the next small chunk of my story. It's just a little snippet, like the other recent ones, which is probably good...because I need to get back to writing.

It's midnight, so technically my writing for the night is done, so I can take a break and post this before I go and start writing for tomorrow's count, lol.
Another short excerpt, like many of them are going to be in this section of the story. Blue's life is clipping forward, and this is the next step...

Little Update
Just popping in to put up a very small chunk of story.
It's the next piece, and very small, but I didn't want to group it with the next excerpt. So, it gets to float on its own.
Once I clean up the next piece a bit, I'll post it. Maybe again tonight, if I write a bit more and get the time.

I was originally embarrassed to even post this excerpt as my novel snippet on the NaNo forum, but I actually got good feedback on it, which surprised me greatly. So, I'm leaving it be, for now. I'm posting it as-is without reading over it and changing it.

My first NaNoism!
I had my first good NaNoism of the year! Yay!
For those who don't know, a NaNoism is a hilarious typo/mis-type that tend to pop up during the marathon of NaNo writing.
Here's the first good one of '08:
"So, the cement ledge that lined the stairs became my new purse."
