Hm. We can kill or drive out the monsters in the vicinity, but I see no way to keep them from returning?

No...it doesn't seem like it. It looks more like they've been ripped.

Miranda-san said she might be able to help a bit with her powers. Overall, creatures like this normally inhabit buildings that have been abandoned for long periods of time. If the building becomes more regularly-used, they might be disinclined to return, and will --er, I think, at least-- find another place to nest.

I'm not sure yet, to be honest. It looks like the pages were ripped out, but I'm not sure if it was done by monsters or not.

If that's what happened, then they really must be.

To be honest, I would think that's more likely. The pages don't look like they've been torn with teeth or claws.

It's... Well, the damage wasn't widespread. It's just this area...so it could have been a lot worse than it was.
