I've read neither the Chronicles of Narnia nor started the LotR books, though I've had them in my possession for over a year now.

*hangs head*

As soon as my academics go away, and not a moment later. However, I did read the Vampire Chronicles and many of the Star Wars spinoffs. Though I don't think either counts for much, even if it does explain a whole lot about me.

And that Friends exchange? Priceless. Joey's reaction is worth the price of that episode.

OMG, I read those Star Wars spinoffs too! Timothy Zhan and that other guy, who had three names -- they were my favorite authors. I lost SO. MUCH. TIME. to those books, it's ridiculous. But I loved every minute!

My last two years in high school I think I tore through every ONE of those books.

Really, I was destined to be a fanficcer.

I think I was the same age when I went through my Star Wars spinoff feeding frenzy! Even now I try to glance at them when I'm in the bookstore to see what those wacky kids are up to.

Also: Your icon is lovely. I can't stop staring at it!

I haven't read those either (Narnia or LotR). But you definitely have good taste in books. I know this since most of the best ones I've read have been recommended by you. :)

Tolkien sucks, Narnia is not for kids no matter what the say, and I, too, IDed with Beth more than any of them.<.g> Oh, and BSC is always a worthwhile series. ;)

I read constantly, too, and I'm also having issues with the top ten meme. I was always pretty varied, but I guess they all impacted me in some way. Because, otherwise, I guess I wouldn't remember so many I read.

But of course, the main question is, which BSCer did you ID with? <.g>

Yay, a fellow Beth identifier and BSC fiend! Did you make your mother go to the bookstore on the 15th of every month for the new books? I was so obsessed. I always identified with Mary Anne (again, the shy one!). What about you?

God, this is bringing me back -- I swear I started five different babysitting clubs with my friends in an attempt to match the coolness and fun of the BSC. Sadly, I never got a cute boyfriend named Logan in eigth grade, like Mary Anne did, and all the clubs self-destructed after big fights over who would be the officers. Good times! :)

LOLOL Okay, seriously, the amount of little things we have in common is a little freaky. <.g> My dad went on the 15th on his lunchbreak and brought them home for me. <.g> I, too, IDed completely with Mary Anne. My best friend even called me Mary Anne for awhile. Only I aspired to be a Kristy. <.g> And my best friend and I started our own babysitting club in 3rd grade. Didn't go far, but we got some money for watching her little sister. <.g> I bet I still have some of our posters, man. LOL Did you read the little "mini-series" that it evolved into, where they finally graduated from 8th grade? Came out a few years ago, so of course I had to buy it. I still liked it. <.g>

Did you ever read Sleepover Friends? <.g>

OMG, lunch breaks were when I made my mom get me the books too! Now that I'm a working girl I realize what a massive sacrifice giving up that hour of freedom was ( ... )
