You won't know what it means to extend an olive branch to a foe unless you've seen how Jesus is God's olive branch to you. You won't ever die for your enemies until you've understood how you God sent Jesus to die for you even while you were an enemy.

Oh man, did I get Summer Finn'd today. There are two issues at hand.

1. The problem with romanticizing life is that "perfect" isn't so perfect after all. The "right person" at first sight could turn out to be totally wrong.
2. Trying harder does not necessarily make the other person more interested.

I'm learning how to organize communities. It's a long and difficult process. As an outsider, I'm not always welcomed and I've even been discriminated against as an Asian man in pre-dominantly African American neighborhoods. But, I've come to understand how to reach people who are the hardest to reach--and need help the most.

May positive change

Is biology destiny? I really do want to experience a day where I don't have to feel so anxious.
