Oh, god. This is too cute. Expect to be teased mercilessly about this back at school. XD

(j/k....)

And rofls to your brother running around.

Seriously. I own all the movies. I check out the animated series from the library every once and a while. I had Raphael on my keychain all year... I almost bought a TMNT backpack for next year. Because yes, I am such a nerd and proud of it. (Actually, the thing I really want right now is the TMNT water bottle I found at Hot Topic a bit ago.)

Yeah, my brother (and I, when I could) ran around a lot doing nerdy/crazy things.

XD I know about the key chain. I thought it was fun.

Backpack and water bottle both make for a themed year of fun tiemz!

Haha, sadly I ended up with a more sensible backpack found on sale. But I *will* hunt down that water bottle. Because though I like the one I have, it has some problems that have been bothering me the last two years so maybe it's time for a new one...

I have no idea how I missed this the first time around. I cannot express my love for this post. TMNT is so much childhood nostalgic love!

Krang/Shredder was my evilOTP before I knew what OTPs were.

ACTION FIIIGURES. I had a beautiful set, the tongue pops out of one of them, the eyes out of another, and one of their arms flicked. And so many little accessories! Pizza and all the weapons and pure action figure geekery. And! A collectable figure case.

Splinter was The Man. He and Mister Myagi needed to hang out sometime.

I love the disguises XD And how they commented on that in the first movie. I can't remember the lines, but something like "Was that a giant turtle in a trenchcoat?" "Who cares."

The turtle's acting like actual teenagers was a big reason I loved the old show, and the movies too. They were badass ninjas, but still real.

And your story is completely adorable XD. Early indoctrination ftw! I should take a pic of my Turtle Shirt, it's got the boys and says Turtley Awesome!

Your geekery is made of WIN.

That's because... Krang and Shredder. Just, not much more needs to be said. :D

We had so many action figures. The only I remember loving to death as a kid was Caveman Mickey with his seriously purple stegosarus (Thus why it is pictured) but we had/have a whole tin of them, though they have all been well used. I think my brother had their car too, if now a sewer set... I kinda want to go digging around in the attic for them now... (I just did that a few months ago with the Star Wars figures).

YES. And the giant turtle in a trench coat line was great.

I wish more shows would feature actual teenagers acting like such. It really does work well.

Ahhhh, I've been wanting a turtle shirt for years. I'll get one eventually, you can usually find them at different stores, but I still need to actually lay down the money for it (Though, I am eying a waterbottle that has all of them on it). And yeah, I had no hope when a child to not grow up to be the biggest nerd.

Why thank ye. :D Your geekery is pretty excellent as well.
