Thank you! I remain ridiculously happy that my interest in this novel has sustained me through this many edits (usually I get bored/distracted and leave my books abandoned).

OHMYGOD. I am so glad I no longer drink when looking at comments. That is hilarious (Especially since I've been watching several different shows with John Simms. I love him as an actor).

Anyway, so yes, my novel. It's Sci-Fi, and these nine scientists/diplomats (Who are almost all anti-social. Seriously. Nine anti social people in the same scene. It makes it hard to write) who get sent to this plant that's been having a civil war for the past 400 years or so. They're sent by their government, the Gov which is basically the Federation of planets if it had been run by Romulans, not humans, so, you can guess how well this is going to go. Nine people, alone on a world in the middle of a civil war, sent by a government that's probably plotting something sinister. Oh, and these characters have tendencies to go falling in love with people all over the freaking place.

I admit to quite loving him as an actor as well, I was very excited when he showed up on Doctor who. Okay, so I was more "Oh my god, is that Sam? THAT'S SAM. TELLING THE DOCTOR TO CALL HIM MASTER OH MY GOOOOD /DIES"

I am very much intrigued by your novel, and would love reading it whenever it gets to the can-bear-to-share-it-with-others stage. Especially curious about the Romulan-esque gov. and the trouble they create. And civil wars! Sci-fi politics are so much more fun than real ones.

SAMMMM. I just finally started watching Life on Mars about a month ago and I love it. (My parents even love it, I got them to watch it with me). And him as the master. <3. In fact, I just bought a shirt the other day that's button up that's brown with stripes and I was looking at going, "This reminds me of Sam Tyler." So now I have a shirt that I've dubbed my Sam Shirt.

It might be approaching that stage as I've just completed the third draft and am now embarking on the third. We shall see. Yeah, the Gov is pretty sneaky and corrupt. This is not good for our heroes. The Civil War is pretty basic right now, as two species evolved on this planet and decided to kill each other. I'm almost tempted to go back and rewrite it so it's not two species but more like two religions or something else to cause it. Not sure yet.
