Why are you high risk for cancer - some hereditary thing?

It is the kind of cancer that killed my mother's father. So, there is a hereditary link.
But, I show signs of it too.

When you're 50, I'm told the average person has 2 things to be removed.
I had 7.
Three years later, I had 4 more.

As i understand it, they aren't cancerous on their own. But, what causes them and causes cancer are very similar, so it shows a high risk.

I'm really happy to hear that nasty test came out good, and also that your vision wasn't worse.
