The world in Queens

I went to Flushing Meadows Corona Park the other day, to take advantage of the rare winter sunlight. While it's not the most groomed park you can find in NYC, for me it's home.

I love that part of Queens. Sad I only go there as a 'tourist'. Need to hit up Flushing more. Great pics! Taken with your iPhone?

I am a fan of Flushing Meadows. Did you know Bloomberg's proposing to turn most of it into a development? It made me mad hearing the news; I hope it doesn't go that way. Queens folks need their outdoor parks, too.

WTF?! We don't need more developments. It's bad enough the NYC Gov't wants to get ride of the Asian mall in Flushing already and now they want to get ride of one of the biggest parks Queens has. Bulls***.
