Back in high school, my favorite English teacher got ecstatic over two things:  Elvis, and the Ides of March.  She'd give out "Golden Elvis stickers" to only the outstanding essays, but for the Ides of March, she went all out:  she'd have her class dress up in togas, bring "blood-stained"  desserts, and

haha well, I didn't hate english class in the least, but I still think reading Shakespeare was a torturous exercise, sometimes. I think it's all those darn footnotes you have to keep referring to on the side, like in the Folger's editions. Shakespeare's actually one instance where I prefer the movie over the book :P

I'll keep that image in mind :P Actually I think I might borrow the 1960s version (isn't there one with Elizabeth Taylor?), see if I can get anything juicy from that...and hopefully find it on Youtube!
