2010 Fics in Review

Funny enough, I hadn't planned on doing one of these since I knew it would be painful to know how little I wrote this year. Not being wrong is disappointing. I'll go more into that in another post.

Other people were saying that the comments for the fests were down, probably due to the holidays. I wouldn't say it was your story but rather just the way it turned out.

I find that except for a few people, most get far fewer comments than they deserve. I'm just glad there is fanfiction.net which tracks hits and has a wider audience. I use it to get my fix for feedback. Otherwise, I'd be very discouraged.

So I wouldn't worry about yours not getting a lot of comments. I'm sure lots of people are reading, just not commenting.

I know, but it's more that the participant I wrote it for didn't comment that bothers me. It wasn't a fic I expected many comments on at all, but you can usually count on at least getting that one.

I haven't updated my ff.net account since I stopped actively writing large amounts of HP fics, even though I get a new review basically every other day.

I'm one of those people. I totally do get that.

Ah, well the participant should comment, if nothing else than to say thanks.

I dump just about everything onto ff.n. I really need to know that someone is reading my stories. Since I don't do a lot of porn on LJ, I tend not to get a lot of replies here on my non-porny stuff. Just the way it is.
