I love English breakfast tea, and I usually have little sandwiches with it too :)

I have hummus and bread, but no cucumbers. I have pickles...maybe if I get desperate for some crunch.

IG used to advertise a countertop composting machine that took 24 hours. I never quite believed it worked enough to shell out the money. Moreover, I have no use for the resulting dirt.

I don't think pickles work with red pepper hummus. But I love to just nibble on full sour pickles, which I really only get when I go to NY. There used to be a good pickle place that came to our local farmer's market, but it closed down. Really a shame as they also had interesting Asian things, including several kinds of kimchi.

I used to know someone who composted on her balcony using a worm box. But it would have non point got me, since I don't garden.

Red pepper hummus and pickles probably wouldn't work. But, I have plain hummus at the moment, and regular dill pickles. Maybe that will be tomorrow's lunch.

I forgot to say this before, but if ever feel like leveling up from Toll House cookies, Tara O'Brady's recipe is now my go-to. Same ingredients, and the added steps of slowly melting the butter, and chilling the dough before baking. Use chocolate chips for ease, but I have come to love using chopped chocolate bars or discs.
