I kinda knew I wouldn't win. I think the subject matter was just a little too edgy. Still it was a great gala event and I managed not to spill anything down the front of my white dress. Just remember, in 1976 ROCKY beat out TAKI DRIVER at the Oscars. Come to think of it, a few years later KRAMER vs. KRAMER beat out APOCALYPSE f'n NOW!

Posterity is the real trophy, and 50 years from now, when MONEY SHOT is required reading for grade school kids, you'll be the real winner.
