[Tumnus has been quiet over the journals save for the occasional response to a handful of people. However, the faun has not been doing nothing during his time here. no, he's been getting to know the lay of the land, as it were, and has been spending a good portion of his day outside the Keep walls rather than inside

Dipping to let her small viper out of her skin to explore the vast green, she takes her time, seeing no reason to interrupt. It's been a long while since she's heard proper music.]

His melody never halts and he seems entirely unperturbed by the slowly shifting form of her snake as it weaves through the greenery near him, although he had not seen where it appeared from.
It's only when the tune reaches it natural ending that he lowers the pipes from his lips and rises to his cloven hooves and offers her a proper waist bow.]
My lady ..

These notions the men of the Keep have of deference are charming, she thinks. Brothel workers are sought for many different things, but it's not for their wisdom that they are respected.]
Please, halfling. I am no lady.
[If not for Dos' earworms she could not understand Tumnus. If he has also submitted to the worm, he should understand her. If not, well, now he knows so.]

Tumnus rises smoothly, returning her grin with an easy one of his own. He recognizes that voice, even if he's never seen the maid before.]
Alas, gentle maiden, but all of the fairer sex find themselves anointed thus ..
[His ears flick forward slightly as he continues, his pipes held in one hand.]
We have spoken before, I think .. although I do not believe I had the pleasure of your name ..

Hello?
[She calls out softly, not wanting to interrupt but also wishing to make her presence known. She would certainly be jumpy if someone happened upon her unawares. Then she sees the fellow who is playing on the reeds and a soft gasp escapes. She stops, watching quietly as his music fills and surrounds her.]

A good porton of my life, really .. It's one thing common to all fauns, no matter the tale I'm told. I, myself, have been playing for nearly two hundred years .. I learned early in my childhood.
[For a creature that looks to be not even thirty years of age, he looks damn fine for his age, doesn't he? :D]

He'd been out jogging when he heard the music, and, naturally, he'd gotten curious. He walks up quietly, and pauses a bit a way, not wanting to disturb him.
The song is beautiful, if sad. He just wants to listen.]

He continues to weave his song, playing for the plants and animals at the forest's edge. The tune is haunting and magical, but unless directly aimed at Bobby, he should not fall victim to its magic.
The song comes to its end and Tumnus lowers the pipes, glancing over at Bobby.]
Hello.

The music keeps going, and Bobby tilts his head to listen, getting caught up on the melody. When the song ends, he straightens a bit, smiling at the greeting.]
Hi! That was really pretty.
You didn't mind me listening, did you?
[Bobby figures he probably would've stopped, if he had, but it doesn't hurt to check.]

My many thanks, Son of Adam. I do not mind in the least, actually .. I rather enjoy an audience that seems receptive.
[And indeed he would have, should he have been actually bothered by it.]
