Oh man. I LOVE cardamom. I saw a recipe recently for cardamom peach pie that made me want to really try to perfect a pie crust. I think I will.

I am going to see Bitch tonight! With Ferron!

The peach and cardamom were really good together. Highly recommended. It'd be good in pie, too, I'm sure.

It was REALLY good! I thought it was going to be one opening for the other, but it was the two of them onstage together the whole time, trading off songs. Bitch sang and played back up for a number of Ferron songs, but Ferron usually sat out Bitch songs. They have a really good rapport. It was a great show. I do wish Bitch would get a haircut, though.

Bitch produced Ferron's latest album, which I bought, but I keep forgetting to bring headphones to work, so I haven't listened to it yet. According to the little sticker on the outside, it includes performances by Ani, the Indigo Girls, JD Samson from Le Tigre and Samantha Parton from the Be Good Tanyas. Want me to make a copy for you? I am sure it could be gotten to you this weekend.

Well, sure. Except that we are totally swimming in stone fruit right now, which is our main motivation for making the frozen treats. How about plum?

Yikes, that makes me miss home! Comes just when I´m feeling the burn of so much cured meat and so little plant material. Think of me when you eat your next bowl and maybe I can particiapte from afar.

Well, those peaches are in a whole lotta cream. Not sure it would satisfy your vegetable needs. And the only green in that meal was pink sauerkraut. But yes, I will think of you.
