Don't hold your breath, Target has been "re-vamping" their plus size line for years.

Uh-huh. It's been years since my local Target has had anything resembling a plus-size "section". Maybe a plus-size "rack" (if you're lucky), usually overrun by maternity and discount straight sizes.

I'm not particularly hopeful, either. "New contemporary options" could stretch to mean a whole lot of things. But I'm still wishing and hoping and thinking...

I'd wondered what was going on - I was in a few targets recently and they did not have a single item of plus size clothing. I hope they make a reappearance.

Thanks for this-I kinda panicked when I was at Target last week and the plus sized section was all but gone-not that it was much of a section to begin with, but you know what I mean.

Yeah have to say I was slightly disappointed but not surprised when the plus size dept by me disappeared. Seems like clearance and maternity end up pushing the clothes back into a bare minimum anyway.
