I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I miss seeing regular OOTD posts here. Watching folks develop their own fatshion blogs* is awesome and wonderful, but the community feel of this forum was valuable to me. I miss being a regular poster. So, here I am, posting

Omgosh. I love ALL OF YOUR OUTFITS. I love your use of colour. I need to know where you get your tights. And I heart girly croc shoes and you made me long for more brightly coloured ones! LOVE LOVE LOVE. :) Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you for all the enthusiasm! I used to get tights from Jessica London and Just My Size, but I haven't worn them in a couple years. I have been wearing only kneesocks from Sock Dreams; all of the outfits above have socks!

Love all the socks, may I ask what your calf size is? I love Sockdreams socks but I find it hard with a 21in calf, my other calf is 19 and it tends to be fine with most socks, but that darn left leg! x3

Ahh!! Thank you! You're the best! :D I'll be saving this list for sure! I've gotten into the rolled socks lately, the ones that don't have a cuff because it's normally the cuff that I have issues with so it will be nice to have cuffed socks again since the rolled ones tend to just stay just above ankles unless I use a garter. I've been wanting their glue but have been worried it wouldn't work as well as garters so I'll have to give that a shot.

Thank you so much! ^__^ It's really nice to hear from someone that has first hand exp with these socks. I had been drooling over those grey/white stripped ones in the pink and stripes outfit so I'm excited to hear they will fit. Now to see if they are still offering them! :D

Edit: And yeah I've heard that about patterned socks. That the more pattern they are the less stretch they have. Which is sad. :c

With the Sock Glue: don't lotion right before gluing, but don't be too dry; get the sock right up to where you want it and then fold it over a bit; roll the glue on in a generous swipe all around your leg; unfold the sock and press that edge onto the glue and just hold firmly for a few seconds. I keep a spare Sock Glue stick at work in case of a stubborn sock that wants to unstick, but I've only had that happen twice (and with socks that were a wee too small on me). I have relatively "sensitive" skin (some adhesives burn me), but Sock Glue doesn't do a thing to me except help me with my socks. Oh, and in all the pix above, no Sock Glue was used.

I love love love all your outfits!! My fave dresses are the Maggie Barnes one (gorgeous colors! I wouldn't have expected that from Catherines lol) and the polka dotted Fashion Bug one (oh, how I miss FB too! You're not alone!) I also really like the hot pink one from Avenue, what season is that from if you remember? I've shopped there pretty regularly for the past several years and don't recall seeing that...

I'm a deathfat as well so this is super inspiring to me. I've just started getting more into dresses this past year and you're giving me some great ideas! Maybe someday I'll be confident enough to post pics of my own!

I don't have a Catherine's near me, but a lovely Ebay seller had several of these easy dresses (they have POCKETS!) and I could not grab them up fast enough. The hot pink Avenue one was from this past year; I found it on a sale rack in September, maybe.
