I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I miss seeing regular OOTD posts here. Watching folks develop their own fatshion blogs* is awesome and wonderful, but the community feel of this forum was valuable to me. I miss being a regular poster. So, here I am, posting

My calves are 24"-26". Sock Dreams has a very good selection of plus-sized socks, although some are more plus-sized than others. With 19"-21", you'll have a LOT of options! I have a list from last year of some socks I had and liked, if that helps. They still sell most of them, I think:
With some of the SITM socks, I use Sock Glue, which I cannot recommend enough. Once you figure out how best to use it, it can last all day -- unless you spend your day doing power squats!
Extraordinary Vertical Striped Cotton OTK
Dreamer Jacquard Ripple OTK (NOT their Flowering Vine)
Bella Doris Crochet Trouser Socks
Diamond Rib Knee Highs (tight stitch at very top that I have pulled at to loosen/invisibly rip; these are very comfy and well-made socks)
SITM Curvy Multi Stripes
SITM Multi Stripes
SITM Curvy Stripes (NOT all SITM socks are equal; I have returned/given away a ton, especially in the cute designs like the black cat, peacock, and flaming hearts)
Isis Striped Over The Knee Socks (better when my calves were 23"-24")
There are so many more I can advise against, like the beautiful but too small Candy Corn. And I used to be able to wear the Green Stripes, Pink Stripes, etc. but that was 50-75 pounds and several calf inches ago!

Thank you so much! ^__^ It's really nice to hear from someone that has first hand exp with these socks. I had been drooling over those grey/white stripped ones in the pink and stripes outfit so I'm excited to hear they will fit. Now to see if they are still offering them! :D
Edit: And yeah I've heard that about patterned socks. That the more pattern they are the less stretch they have. Which is sad. :c

They have them still, in lots of colors!
With the Sock Glue: don't lotion right before gluing, but don't be too dry; get the sock right up to where you want it and then fold it over a bit; roll the glue on in a generous swipe all around your leg; unfold the sock and press that edge onto the glue and just hold firmly for a few seconds. I keep a spare Sock Glue stick at work in case of a stubborn sock that wants to unstick, but I've only had that happen twice (and with socks that were a wee too small on me). I have relatively "sensitive" skin (some adhesives burn me), but Sock Glue doesn't do a thing to me except help me with my socks. Oh, and in all the pix above, no Sock Glue was used.
