ModCloth review!

Sep 30, 2013 19:49

I decided to make my first ModCloth purchase because of their current $20 off a $50+ purchase deal for first-time customers.
(Which, by the way, if you want me to refer you for the $20 off coupon code, just let me know in the comments before 10/3, when the offer is past expiration!)

Hmm, I've tried three times but it keeps saying that there's an error & to 'try again later'... I'll try referring you again later tonight!

i remember that top! the elasticized armholes were like the size of ponytail holders. thank you for posting the review to the product page, that way other customers will know!

It's sooo uncomfortable!! I think they'd dig into the skin of even someone with small arms. :\

it definitely is! you could always return it, since there's free return shipping in the us - you shouldn't have to alter it to make it not hurt, y'know what i mean?

I planned on it! I think I would need the 4X to have it not gape when I sit, too. I do appreciate the free returns - part of why I shop at ASOS so much, haha.

Thanks for the review! That constellation calendar is so cute. Hmm, I've heard so many mixed things about Modcloth but there's something I've had my eye on. Could you send a code to wwwclickclick@gmail.com?

the feedback I read on the top was the same even in the smaller sizes about the arm holes.
I agree w/you on the Forever21 feel on the jewelry- the one item I have from them is a cheaply made brontosaurus necklace, but then it was also around $12 so I wasn't expecting anything long term from it.

the top does look cute on you! sucks about the arm hole and the button gaping. I've had more positives in my shopping w/mod-cloth with the exception of 3 dress- 2 were too big and one was so comically small (even when the fit section said 'size down! runs large!' um no. it ran super duper small. I've found once you find your size with a specific designer they carry (even in the Mod-Cloth plus size exclusive, some brands will still run larger or smaller depending) the odds are better on an item you'll love.

I just ordered a cardigan. It is the worst, scratchiest, most horrible fabric.
