Yet another fit question!

Greetings, all!

Delurking to see if anyone can help in translating this weird new sizing convention. I've been looking for a new fall coat, and I do believe I've found it. However, the sizes I'm presented with are 1, 2, 3, and 4

Yeah I think it's more 1x 2x 3x 4x.

I'm a 30/32 usually and can generally get a 4x comfortably.

Use caution with Target's 1,2,3,4 sizes. I'm a 28/30 and the 4 from some Target lines fit while others are too small. Mossimo's 4 nearly always fits, so I'd say they run larger. Merona items are rarely big enough so I'd say they run smaller. Xhiliration fits about half the time so I'd say they run down the middle. PS--if you buy the coat, post an OOtD I'd love to see it!

I was going to say the opposite LOL

For me, Merona seems to run true-to-size/large while Mossimo has me going up a size or just forging the item entirely. Funny how that works :-/
