Hey. So I need some help here.. I'm entering into the back office side of the medical field and I need some recommendations for pants. I've been out of the slacks game forever so that's why I'm asking here. 5'3", thick-legged, apple shaped size 28. Anyone have experience with brands or styles that are regular rise, not too wide in the legs but ( Read more... )

Check Lane Bryant.

You might find something at Torrid as well.

Beyond that... I'm not sure. I've found a nice pair at Nordstom, and also Bon Macys, but those tend to be spendy. Nordstrom Rack also sometimes has pairs.

Either way, I sincerely hope you find what you're looking for :)

My mom is a lot taller than you but about the same size, and she loves Lands End's slacks (though they can be a bit pricey).

(Shameless self-promotion -- I have a big lot of her lightly-used Lands End pants on eBay right now!)

Hi Tootsicle! I have nothing useful to add despite the fact that I'm also 5'3"(and a 1/2!) but we have really different body shapes so I'm not sure that what works for me, would work for you. But I just wanted to say that I remember when you did OOTD's and how wonderful they were. I'd love to see your fanciful style again!
