...Having a son means realizing that there is something in the world that is more important than anything else, no matter what. Having a daughter would be very much the same, I've no doubt.
I feel this way even when not thinking of him. With his birth, I finally had a family. Even if he'd not become such a wonderful person, I'd owe him forever for that.
