[After his run in with Ciel and establishing a contract with her, Archer has been spending most of his time testing his abilities and making sure everything is right. The thing he's realized thus far is that his Noble Phantasm is still inactive. Which means he has to recreate all the swords he knows through his memory, until he gets access to his ( Read more... )

[He thinks.]

How about your house? All I'll need is the front yard. [He won't need such a big field for a simple demonstration.]

Drinking is the only proper way to celebrate a new year.

I suppose you cannot counterfeit things such as having decent hobbies.

...Drinking is a hobby now?

It's bad for your health anyway. So do continue on.

tempted with B but let's go C. Nighttime is nice =3= expiatrice November 16 2010, 03:18:31 UTC
[Clairvoyance you say? Then you'll probably notice the nun approaching from afar despite her hair and robes blending in with the night sky. By virtue of jumping from rooftops to phone wire poles and lampposts and such, her normal way of moving around when dressed like that and going out in this hour. She can feel that you're out - and you can probably do the same, so she'll be casually headed this way.]

[He senses Ciel and sees her quite clearly despite the fact that it's night and he likely isn't looking in her general direction. He doesn't say anything as she draws closer nor does he turn his head from the night light.]

[That's fine, she wouldn't expect more. She'll ultimately halt on a lamppost inside the park, close to where the statue stood. The image was admittedly a mildly amusing one, but she'll not comment on how the mayor looked.]

That's an interesting choice of outpost. I prefer the top of the Church myself, but to each their own. Do you see anything interesting from there?

[He doesn't turn to her.]

This area is important for a reason. It's the closest I could fine to being the very center of the town. Not the highest point but the one that grants the best outlook. Right now I'm just surveying the area.

[Mia barely pauses before glancing over to the tree and then around to see who might have fired it. At least it didn't hit her.]

[If Mia looks up toward the buildings she might notice the shooter perched atop one of the store roofs. But he isn't shooting anymore, only staring at the arrow that hit the tree.]

That's incredible! How did you do that?

It's my magecraft. However, these are just projections.

Magecraft--like magic? I thought that was just superstition. [That's what Joel says, at any rate.]

It's close, but not precise. There's more of a formula to it. [He picks up one of the swords from the ground and looks at it.] It's shrugged off as superstition, but it's real. It's just a well kept secret.
