Tempe stretched out on her bed, weetiny kitties settling in all around her. Except, of course, for the grey-furred kitty and the golden-furred kitty, who were curled up on her chest again, playfully batting each other with their weetiny paws.
She'd secretly dubbed them Silver Fox and Goldilocks, respectively. Not that she was particularly intent on sharing that information with anyone.
She'd woken up earlier this morning in the
common room, after having fallen asleep
doing puzzles, and that's when she had first discovered the weetiny kitties.
In all, it was quite the improvement over earlier in the day, when she'd had a huge headache, and had
faceplanted into her cheesecake.
The day had gotten better after that, when she'd run into
Sawyer in the common room.
And, of course, later in the day, when her headache was well on its way to disappearing, Sawyer had
called into the pirate's radio show and dedicated a song to her. She'd never heard the song before, but she figured she'd be listening to it again, now. Several times.
The day before, she'd had lunch
near a person, but she'd been too nervous to make the effort to introduce herself. Maybe next time. She'd also gone to
Astronomy, which had been surprisingly fun.
The day before that, she'd
woken up with Sawyer,
made cookies (and new friends),
danced in the pudding rain, and
gone to the 2nd floor common room.
The day before that, she'd gone to
Arts & Crafts, and had a lovely dinner with
Sawyer.
On Saturday, she'd gone on her
date with Paige, and on Sunday, she'd
moved back into the dorms.
Yep, good week.
Silver Fox and Goldilocks had apparently grown tired, and were now sprawled across each other, each with a paw protectively clinging to her and to each other.
The other weetiny kitties crawled along her legs and arms, and settled in various places.
"Uh, guys? I kind of had plans today."
