Bullshit. Well, I guess I won't be buying a Wii. :/ This is pretty much the only upcoming game on any system that I give a rat's ass about.

I heard the news (about the European release, since I live in Europe) the other day.. I was really looking forward for the game release.

I think Nintendo is being kind of ridiculous if they don't release it anywhere but in Japan. I mean, it's not like Fatal Frame is an unknown series of games, I would understand if it was a game no one knew about nor cared for it but it has loads of fans... fans who were looking forward to the release. Hell, agawa_jean apparently was going to buy a wii just for the game, for christ's sake!... bah. I hope they change their minds u_u

Seriously, there hasn't been any essential releases since Smash Brother Brawl LAST YEAR. They keep releasing games that are pure bullshit. The virtual console is the only redeeming factor and now that's running out of titles that I keep hoping for.

Maybe, if we wait long enough, there'll be a system port. It's happened before, like with Bioshock. I'd rather play it on the PS3 anyway.

Yeah, the only hope now is that eventually they'll sell the rights back to Tecmo, Sony, or Microsoft. It's been a year already and they didn't even release this news themselves (the quote is from a Tecmo rep) so I think it's pretty clear Nintendo has washed its hands of Fatal Frame outside of Japan.
