Benedict Cumberbatch (most. British. name. ever.) is smoking. And has the sexiest voice. I've always thought Martin Freeman was a cutie and while he's less Watson than Cumberbatch is Holmes it's still good stuff. There were soooo many canon references. My only quibble was that I figured out it was a taxi driver before Holmes, and that shouldn't happen! I thought that he had figured it out and just wasn't letting on, and then he actually didn't know, which just seems weird because it was so obvious! (it's like that one Supernatural episode where the boys fail to immediately identify Blue Oyster Cult's cross of confusion symbol. I mean, whaaaaaaat how is that even believable?).
But the Princess Bride stand-off? And Sherlock pulling a Harry Callahan? Awesome. But the dialogue and character interaction? that was the best of all.
I'm so sad that there are only three episodes.

I started to, but can't even go into all of the things I loved about it.
See, I was probably paying way too much attention to said fantastic dialogue and character interaction that I wasn't really playing along with the who-done-it. But once it was revealed I did the "oooooh, of course" thing.
I can't believe there's only three too. But they are long and maybe if it's popular enough they'll do more. *crosses fingers*
