Bookstore fun

Summer in the bookstore means scads of spoiled preteen summer campers with sticky fingers (I assume, thus I watch like a hawk).  But it also means summer school, and there's some fun classes stuff in the summer.  I loved summer school and did at least one class of it every year.  One of the English classes is doing Macbeth which I flippin love.  ( Read more... )

Also Hamlet with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. It's awesome.

You're right though, there is a shortage of awesome Macbeth movies. Someone should speak to someone about that.....

(I am somehow really weirded out by the thought of a new English teacher that I don't know WHAT HSU HAS MOVED ON WITHOUT ME I didn't think that was allowed!)

The icon! So fitting.

Also Hamlet with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. It's awesome.

But of course, more proof of cool Hamlet attention! Geez, that guy.

New guy is Dr. King, I don't know how new he is so maybe you know of him. I just never had him for anything in my days as an English minor. Did you know Thompson is going to be the head of the dept. now? That is brand spankin' new news.

I really like Macbeth. Almost a tie with Othello. Guess I like the dark revenge stories.

I tend to like more of the tragedies than comedies, (except for Romeo and Juliet). Macbeth is just so cool and I think a big production movie could be sweet if it were done well.

Did I share the Sassy Gay Friend at one point?
