I just really feel like expressing how much I hate rompers.  It's okay if you're five years old.  But otherwise, take the time to put on at least two pieces of clothing.  That's all.

Jezebel just did a review of the Free People catalog, and there was a point at which the author said something like: "Look, I'm all in favor of fun, flirty fashion. But that is a romper. With ruffles. You can't tell me that's not infantilizing women." Which...WORD.

I've never actually seen one on a person yet but on television and magazines and famous people. Not even alternate universe refugees but all the little starlets and whatnot. Eeesh.

I know, the Liberty for Target ad shows this really cute print, in what I'd hoped was a strapless sundress, then ack, at the end I see it's a little boy short romper, ugh!!

Seriously, you're allowed to wear what is basically a onesie if you're under the age of five, or like, a welder/farmer/wrestler/etc.

I think I was sucked into the same misfortune of "Ooo cute! Wait those are shorts?!"
