Magika - Chapter 32 (New)

Ohno couldn't control his anger as he saw Nino's lifeless body. The ground started to shake and the objects in the room flew towards the person standing in the middle of the room. He lost control of his magic but he didn't care. He stood up, putting Nino's corpse on the floor. How dare the teacher tricked him into killing Nino! He's going to pay for this.

The teacher was kneeling on the floor. A hand covered his face, trying to avoid the objects flying in the room from hitting him. Ohno smiled to see that. He felt satisfaction to see the teacher like that. Yes, he will use his magic to avenge Nino. Kimura sensei will regret underestimating him.

He lifted the teacher from the floor, once again smiling when the teacher was flustered to be treated like that.

"Stop this, please!" Kimura sensei begged him. Ohno laughed in return. Now, the teacher will know exactly how he felt when he made him feel helpless in the cave. He's going to enjoy this. He's going to enjoy making the teacher begged for his mercy.

"Why would I stop?" He asked Kimura sensei. He almost didn't recognize his own voice. It's too cold but it didn't matter to him. "Ever since I met you in the cave, you've been hurting me. You make me afraid of you. Now, you will know how I feel,"

"What should I do to you first?" He asked the teacher, staring intently at his eyes. The teacher looked at him in fear. He saw pieces of glass scattering the room. The teacher shook his head, as if he knew what he wanted to do with the glass. He ignored the pleading look before he directed the glass towards the teacher.

"Aaahhhhh," the teacher screamed when the glass touched his skin. He loved that. He loved hearing the teacher screamed.

The glass attacked the teacher from every direction, injuring the skin that touched its surface. There was blood everywhere and he enjoyed the screaming from the teacher. But, it wasn't enough.

What should he do next, he thought to himself. This was the first time he tortured someone and he had to admit, he was enjoying himself. He looked around, thinking of what he could do to him. There wasn't much in the room for him to use. Well he will use the teacher's own body to torture then. He started to toss the body up and down, back and forth in every direction he wanted. Then, he twisted every limb in the body. He expected to hear more screaming but was presented with a groaning instead. The teacher had stopped screaming.

"Where is your voice?" He asked the teacher. "Why do you stop screaming?"

He knew the answer. The teacher was too exhausted with the torture that he had executed on his body. But, he wasn't satisfied. He wanted to hear the teacher begging again.

"Beg for your life! Or... I will make it worse for you," he told the teacher. He brought the teacher to the window, having new ideas on what to do.

"How about this?" He tossed the teacher's body out of the window but before the body hit the ground, he stopped it. Then, he carried the body up to face him again.

"Exciting, isn't it? Do you want to try again?" He asked the teacher. Kimura sensei shook his head.

"Are you sure?" He asked the teacher. Well, he himself didn't want to do it again. Even though it was a delight to hear Kimura sensei screaming, he didn't get the chance to see his expression. He couldn’t look at the teacher’s face anymore. He wanted to end his life now.

Ohno eyed the pieces of glass once again. He took one of them, didn't care that it bled him to touch the glass with his bare hands. It didn't hurt him. He didn't feel pain. He didn't feel like a human anymore. Maybe he already died when he killed Nino earlier.

He shoved the glass into Kimura sensei's hand. The teacher looked at him confusedly.

"Slit your throat with the glass," he told the teacher. He noticed the teacher was trying to resist his control. But, he was far more superior than him. So, against his will, the teacher started to do as he was told. The glass has grazed the surface of the skin when the teacher opened his mouth to talk.

"Ohchan...." Ohno was shocked when he heard the voice coming from the teacher. But, it wasn't his voice. It was Nino's voice. He was even more surprised that he saw Nino for a split second, instead of Kimura sensei.

The shock was enough to make him lose control on the teacher. The teacher threw the glass away. But, Ohno knew better than to trust what he saw and heard. He already killed Nino. There's no way the person he was torturing was Nino. He tortured Kimura sensei, not Nino!

"Don't try to fool me!" He told the teacher angrily. But, the teacher shook his head, pleading with his eyes once again.

"Ohchan, it's me," the teacher told him. He shook his head, knowing that the teacher was just trying to mess with his head. The teacher knew Nino was his weakness so he used his dead boyfriend to avoid getting killed by him. He bet that the teacher will attack him if he let go of him. No, he's not going to be tricked!

"Ohchan," the soft voice that he loves called him again. The teacher didn't open his mouth to talk. It was in his head. "I love you. I love you so much. Tell our friends that I'm sorry for letting them down,"

Why, Ohno asked himself. Why did he doubt himself now? Why did he think that he had made a terrible mistake? Was it really Nino? Did he really torture Nino?

He closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind. What was real? What was illusion? He didn't know anymore. He remembered the lifeless body he saw earlier... Was it really Nino? Did he really kill Nino? Or did he fell into a trap made by Kimura sensei?

"Nino," he called the guy sitting in front of him. The guy looked at him before smiling. When he looked at the smile, he regretted everything that he had done earlier. The smile... The soft little shy smile with a hint of mischievous in his eyes that was reserved only for him. Surely, Kimura sensei couldn't imitate the smile in his illusion. He never saw the smile. Slowly, Kimura sensei in front of him changed to Nino. Seeing all the injuries that he had caused on the body made him feel guilty. Why was he so stupid to be tricked by Kimura sensei?

"I'm sorry," he immediately apologized. He wanted to do something, to ease the pain felt by Nino. He cursed himself for hurting Nino. He kept apologizing while Nino smiled weakly at him.

"It's okay. You don't have to apologize," Nino told him. His voice was very weak and it made Ohno worried. What if he really lose Nino this time? It was his fault and there's no way he's going to forgive himself.

"Well..." A cold voice interrupted them. Kimura sensei, the real Kimura sensei, stood at the back of the room with an amused smile. "That was very entertaining to watch,"

Ohno glared at the teacher in return. He knew this was the real Kimura sensei. It wasn't an illusion. He was pale and he looked sickly. Ohno knew the reason for that. Using too much illusion magic would drain his energy because of the body he was using. He thought the teacher was bluffing earlier but looking at his condition right now, he knew it was true.

"You don't look good," he made a remark. The teacher laughed weakly at that.

"Well, you know the reason," answered the teacher. "I just need to rest to replenish my energy,"

"You won't get that," he told the teacher firmly. He's not going to let the teacher win this time.

"You want to use my weakness? That's not very noble of you," Kimura sensei responded, still tried to taunt him. "Well, it's okay, then. You can kill me. But, I am still the winner. Kazu doesn't have much time to live, thanks to you. I'm happy that I will die knowing that you will never get him. Instead, you will live in guilt forever because of what you did to him,"

"Remember. You killed him, not me."

The teacher laughed at him. He mocked him for his stupidity. He was annoyed to hear the laugh. He wanted him to stop laughing and he did. But, it wasn't because he made the teacher stopped laughing. Instead, he made the teacher slitted his own throat, just like what he wanted to do to Nino earlier. Kimura sensei was too tired, too exhausted to resist his control on him. If only he did this much sooner...

He had tainted his soul. He had killed someone and he didn't feel guilty for what he did. The only thing he regretted was letting the teacher died easily.

"It's okay... Ohchan," he turned his attention back to Nino. It was hard for Nino to talk and once again, Kimura sensei's voice taunted him. What the teacher said before he died kept on repeating in his head. "I'm glad I meet you,"

He couldn't help the tears that started to flow. Nino was saying goodbye to him. His eyes were closed but he could still feel his pulse even though it was very weak. It wouldn't be long before Nino left him for good and he wasn't ready for that. He should do something but he cannot think of anything right now. If only he had healing magic instead of what he had...

He was distracted when he saw a dark, coiled ash came from the teacher's body. There was no shape in the beginning but slowly, it took the form of Naomi's face. It was trying to attack him and he immediately knew this must be the soul of Naomi that had been put into the body. He had to destroy it. If not, the soul would find a new vessel. He needed to think quickly before the soul escaped.

However, before he could do anything, a small light came out from Kimura sensei's body and then it became brighter. It was too bright and Ohno had to close his eyes. He didn't know what happened but he could hear screaming and then an explosion. He risked opening his eyes to see what happened, glad that it wasn't as bright as before. The ash was nowhere to be seen and he was panicked, thinking that he had let Naomi's soul escape.

"Don't worry, I destroyed the soul,"

Ohno's eyes opened wide in surprise when he heard the voice. It was eerily familiar. It sounded like Kimura sensei. He glanced at the teacher's corpse but there was no indication that the teacher was still alive. Perhaps he had gone crazy for hearing the teacher's voice.

And then he saw him. Kimura sensei slowly approached him. But, there was something wrong with him. He was transparent, like a ghost. He wasn't walking, he was gliding.

"You become a ghost to mess with me again?" That was his first response. However, the ghost chuckled with what he said.

"I'm not Naomi. I'm the real Kimura Takuya," the ghost told him. He frowned to hear that. What's the difference? Naomi is Kimura sensei.

"He doesn't have much time," the ghost said as he looked at Nino. He was clearly worried and as Ohno looked at him properly, he noticed there was indeed something different between the ghost and the teacher. He looked sincere and genuinely cared about Nino.

Suddenly, something clicked in his mind. He understood what he meant when he said he is Kimura Takuya. He is the real owner of the body.

"What should I do to save him?" He asked the ghost. He didn't know whether he could trust the ghost but he was too desperate right now. He would do anything to save Nino.

"Use your magic," the ghost told him. He frowned when he heard that. He didn't think his magic was useful for this.

"I don't have healing magic," he told the ghost. "And I doubt that my mind control magic could help Nino,"

"Not that. Your other magic,"

Ohno blinked his eyes, trying to think of what he meant. He scratched his head before his eyes opened wide, remembering that he had another magic. He is from House of Matsumoto. He could manipulate water and water could be used to heal.

He looked around the room and spotted a big jar of water that he could use. He wondered if it would be enough but not wanting to waste any more time, he started to concentrate. He wanted to engulf the water over Nino, hoping it would heal the injury. Perhaps because he was anxious, he had trouble transporting the water from the jar. However, remembering that Sho told him how magic is related to his feelings, he started to think of Nino, hoping that it will have an effect. He couldn't hide his excitement when it worked and slowly, he guided the water to Nino, washing over the injury on Nino's body. Slowly, the cuts on Nino's body started to disappear, much to his surprise. However, Nino remained unconscious.

"It isn't just a normal water. It is healing water that Nakai made for Naomi. To replenish her energy," the ghost explained to him. He smiled at him in return, feeling grateful for what the ghost did. "He will wake up soon,"

"Why did you help me?" He asked the ghost. The ghost smiled sadly at him. It took some time for him to finally answer.

"It is my token of gratitude for freeing me from her," the ghost told him. "I'm happy to finally left the body behind. That is my body but I have no control on it. I'm not proud of what I did when she was in control of my body. Your father wasn't the only person she killed. I'm glad to finally be free. Thank you,"

It happened in just a blink of an eye but the ghost finally disappeared. He didn't know where the ghost went to but he hoped that he finally found peace.

He could hear hurried footsteps approaching the room. The door was violently opened and he was once again worried to see the newcomer. It was Nakai and he cursed himself for forgetting that Naomi's ally is still alive.

Nakai scanned the room and then looked at him confusedly. There was something different about him and he got the answer a second later when Nakai noticed Nino's condition. He ran towards them worriedly and slowly Nakai that he saw changed to Nino-papa.

"What happened?" Nino-papa asked him. The guilt that he felt for hurting Nino resurface.

"I'm sorry. It's my fault,"
