Last time I pulled that stunt, it was on a slimy driveway; my well-padded caboose hit the asphalt most firmly. I don't think it was good for my spine, either. Moss-killer got the slime and my dignity soon recovered.
In your case, it's not just the dignity, is it? Yeah, gotta take it easy when we're not as robust in the right ways as we once were.
Yeah, why couldn't I have done something normal, like fall on a driveway or trip over a buried treasure? Everybody from the EMTs to the ambulance driver to the ER folks all thought the dog drool story was the best one they'd heard in weeks!
ARgh! I'm catching up on these. I'm wanting to put laminate floors down through the living room and kitchen, but now... should I go for vinyl in the kitchen where water-spills happen often?
laminate floors are, imho, not for kitchens. They're just cardboard, after all, and if the seams get wet, you get a very annoying bubble in the floor. For everywhere else, though, they're great!
