Braaaaaaassieres!

So in my anxiety to not miss the start of class today, I kind of left the house around like 7.30? And moseyed to MacDonald's to get some McMuffins and then catch a bus up to Ottawa St. I got to the shop at 8.20am -_- ( Cut for pictures )

craftyness, pictures

If you go to their website, down on the left column, there's a link to "Our Teachers". The first one, that is. It goes to Google Maps, and they have a list of custom bra-makers and teachers, so you can see if there's one near you.

Booo the closest is in Orlando. Miami-Dade may be one of the biggest population centers in the country at 4.5 million people, but sometimes I feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere. We don't get anything cool.

And that is really cool!

Aw, boo! They do have patterns... if you have a good seamstress friend interested in taking this up, you could drop hints?

Damn. I mail-order my bras. Triumph is completely unavailable in the USA as far as I can tell, and nothing else I have tried (and I have spent HOURS trying in tons of stores) fits the same. I make my mother go with me and spend hundreds of dollars on bras every time I go back to Malaysia, but I've been away from Malaysia so long I had to make an emergency order online (and I cussed myself out for not getting my bra size and having to measure with a steel measuring tape like the kind handymen use.)

I make my bras last as long as possible, but like you, I tend to go home to buy bras too. For a while my brand of choice was Wacoal, which is unavailable here too. Now I'll just buy whatever fits the best, but even then, there's a niggling lack of fit unless it's a very smooth and comfy material (I've only got one bra like that right now).

And there is NOTHING attractive in any sizes above B cups. =/ I've been wearing C cups for the last few years and it's really frustrating to find stuff that's nice. And now that I've found out I'm actually a D cup, my choices are going to be so much more limited. Bleh.

*laughs* That's one reason why I like Triumph. The blue lacy thing you made? Triumph has tons of those in large sizes.

I've tried Triumph before but the fit was uncomfy somehow, and the Triumph outlets I've gone to never has a selection I quite like =(

You know, people would probably hire you on here for custom jobs, if you were interested . . .

It's definitely something to consider! I think if I keep this up I could apply for Canadian permanent residency under the Entrepreneur class!
