Catch-up time?

Feel like a failure for not producing or posting anything lately for this wonderful community, but.... waddayagonnado? Anyway, since we now have two weeks of catch-up time, I scoured my season 5 fics for anything that fits the "before IWMTLY" criteria. Came up with only two. What a great little pre-bedtime jolt of happy! Joyce and Spike together are always lovely, but this is an especially sweet interaction. I always wished we'd gotten to see more of them in canon.

I always thought that Joyce would be most likely to notice Spike's loneliness, since she's fairly isolated as an adult...but then Dawn takes up a lot of mental time, as our kids seem to do. This is a sweet little bit of making peace - and just in time. Lovely.
