It's lovely to get in Angel's head for the Mr. Gordo sniffing. The image of him clutching that pig always makes me laugh.

I just love that scene where he whirls round and has Mr Gordo in his hands. It made me wonder why he picked it up, so...

Thanks for your comments.

*la la la, no idea what you mean, la la...*

Hee to Angel though - nice to see him focusing on Buffy. A little poignant too, as it reinforces the years between them.

Ha!!! You did know to whom I was referring to... *big grin*

Yes, and there wouldn't have been any Mr Gordos in his childhood. How sad is that? :0(

I also like the contrast between Angel and Buffy. When they're romantic together, or fighting together, they seem on a par, but this reminds us that their histories and futures are wildly different and probably irreconcilable. Sad.

When you see scenes like these it really brings it home to how different they are. Yeah, they fight the bad guys, and Angel is the perfect partner, but Buffy is young and just a child compared to him. How much did that bother him, I wonder?

Thanks for dropping by.

That is so incredibly sweet, and perfectly conjures up one of Angel's sweetest moments in Season 2. I love the way you have him thinking about pigs and her scent and her child side. There's just so much there. And 'perfume and power' is a perfect phrase; quintessential Buffy through the nose of Angel.

Thank you. The mind of Angel is a delight to explore, for me, anyhow. I try to understand how he sees things, considering he is built for killing and slaughter. That plush toy in his killers hands. In Buffy's room it is sweet. In any other context, downright creepy.

I forgot to add that 'perfume and power' was my favourite phrase. Thanks.

Another fascinating insight. Mind if I friend you in the hopes of observing some more in the future? :)

What a tangled picture - want and irreconcilable differences, nicely caught. The last sentence is lovely.

want and irreconcilable differences,
