How exciting to have all this activity right outside your windows :D
A water feature would be fun! I wonder if they will also use the pipes to run electrical for lighting? I don't know how big the conduit is that they use for underground electrical wiring?
I did a little on line research, and they said most water features use PVC piping which would be the smaller. shiny pipes. I couldn't find any uses for the big pipes which look like...to my uninformed eye...like cement. My guess, if they are cement, is that they'd be used as protection for a bunch of wires, pipes, etc.
There IS a lot going on right now. My complex was completed in 1959, and for years, had I lived here, I'd have had only one, maybe two, other apartment houses within view. Now...new buildings keep popping up like mushrooms. The area is suddenly A Thing. FanSee
In the next-to-last picture, the only building that may be as old or older than my complex is the big, big red brick building. All the rest are post 1959, the year when Park Towne Place was completed.
This neighborhood has provided a steady flow of jobs for the building trades and continues to do so. FanSee
