I feel fine today. I slept well last night, and that cured my doldrums. If only I could sleep well every night...but I guess that's asking too much ( Read more... )

Going for a walk is essential, I think. I don't feel right if I haven't been outside at least once a day.

May there be more good night's sleeps!

Getting in touch with Mother Nature is therapeutic. Whether I'll walk daily once Philadelphia's summer heat and humidity blanket us is another kettle of fish. Park Towne Place has a large, lovely gym as an included amenity, but whether it will reopen is a question. They did uncover the pool, so I gather that will be open. probably sometime in May. Maintaining a six-foot distance should be quite doable...it was last summer...unless usage ramps up a lot higher this year. FanSee

Feeling dull here as well. It wasn't nice enough to get out yesterday, hope to today. Hang in there. 1000 steps is great especially while we are quarantined. Check out walking workouts on TV. I just need to be motivated to get off the couch.

Yesterday was the seventh day in a row that I got out and walked. Whether I'll walk today is questionable. I didn't sleep well last night...napped rather than slept...which leaves me a bit tottery. We'll see, but my guess is...not. FanSee

P.S. Those couches are too damn seductive. I know.

I'm glad that things are looking up a bit. The sun will do that. :D

There's something about fresh air and Mother Nature that helps keep me balanced emotionally and mentally. FanSee

I think with all of us. We try to get out even if for just a few minutes every day and just breathe.

I love fountains. I need to put an app on my phone so I can track my steps when I walk around the park.

I have to say, tracking my steps does motivate me. If I don't go outside at all, it's all too easy for me to end up with less than 400 steps in a day. *cringe* FanSee

A walk on the wild side

BHAAA *g*

You continue to cheer me up every day with these brilliant posts, dearest fansee.

BTW- you're so lucky you have such a lovely enclosed little garden to take a walk in or sit and just have a breather. Make sure it's not too crowded while you're there obviously.

Not sure why these maintenance men who were kind enough to continue their work didn't even bother to wear face masks etc, though...*iz confused*

Take care and stay safe

Hugs

V.

Notice that the men are about six feet apart, plus it was quite breezy. Will they be able to maintain a healthy distance as they finish up their job? That's another question.

Thinking about it, I should have gone over and encouraged them to use masks. i love how beautifully the grounds here are maintained, so I want them to stay healthy. FanSee
