10 March 2019: Recovery Under Weigh

I broke three metatarsals in my left foot on 27 February, a Wednesday. They are little breaks in little bones, so the Physician's Assistant I saw last Monday said the only treatment necessary is to stay off my feet as much as possible, with the foot elevated, and nature will take care of the problem in two or three months

I'm surprised they didn't give you a boot. When my son broke several of his he wore a boot and was on crutches for a while.

But glad you've been able to heal.

They did give me a boot. I didn't wear it around the house, but I did when I went out. (That wasn't often in first three weeks.) By the time three weeks had gone by, I was only experiencing a sort of mild discomfort, so I gave up on the boot.

I've been surprised at how quickly the foot has improved. FanSee

Sorry to hear about your damaged foot! At least you and Debbie were able to spend some time together, recuperating!

Hopefully you continue to see improvement and outings become less heart-stopping!

I still feel a bit vulnerable when i go beyond my apartment complex, but I restarted my exercise program on Monday. I know that a week or so of conscientious exercising and I'll be more steady on my pins. FanSee

I'm spending the week at Rachel's taking care of the girls while her and Joe and a bunch of friends, Jeffery and Rad included, are in Martinique.
Will be travelling by Lyft a lot this week.

So, when you mentioned Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse I knew just where you meant and why is that? Because Aaron & I are currently staying at Chestnut &16th, at the Club Quarter Hotel and why is that? Becauae we came here to find me a condo and we have. I just heard about 15 minutes ago that I have gotten the place I wanted!! So, I'm a new Philadelphian :)

Otherwise, I'm glad you had an enjoyable time with your sister but I do wish the visit could have been under more healthy circumstances.

I do hope this move means we can meet face to face once you get moved in. Are you within the Philadelphia city limits? We have a pretty good public transportation system, so even though I don't drive, that doesn't mean I can't get around!

The condo is in the Philadelphian so I believe we will be within walking distance. If fact Aaron and I visited your Super Whole Foods! I 'm sure we will do lunch just as soon as I am settled. I am looking forward to it 😁
