Grand Unified Fae Theory

Mar 01, 2014 11:06

I'm up to 69,000 words on my novel.  o_O  I really can't believe it.
Two chapters to go and it will be drafted and fully real.
I first had the idea for this novel when I was 19 or so.  Now I am 45!
Fanfic, the amazing and inspirational community of fanfic writers, and nanowrimo, have helped to make me capable of this.
Thank you!!!

Fandom is so inspiring, Dee. How many *years* did it take me to write my dissertation, ugh. Also, this is *so* much more fun. :D

Wow, 69k! That is fantastic!

Fandom really is one of the best places for writers; for all its faults, we are one of the most encouraging and inspiring communities I know of.

thanks! I have high hopes I will be able to finish the draft by the beginning of May. Have you heard of 12mowrimo? They are a great comm that encourages members to post a daily word count. It is a good effective tool for me! :)
