Has... has anyone seen Sokka? He hasn't been home, and I thought- I thought we already worked through this, but I guess I was wrong. [Annoyance spread across her face.] I've tried contacting him, but he isn't answering... if he...

[Then she stopped

[Offline] Many, many hours later...

[Sokka returns home, living and complete. He doesn't have his PCD, or much of his faculties about him, to be perfectly honest. After more than a whole day wandering Adstringendum, he's looking dirty and tired and his stomach is making more sound than he is as he pushes through the door of the house on Queen Anne's Row he shares with Suki and Aang.]

[He goes straight through to the kitchen, not once checking to see if anyone is home here or next door. Welcome to The Stupor, my friends.]

[Offline] FOREVER!

[Suki's eyes were starting to sting from being awake and the tears. She was really thinking the worse, and telling herself no wasn't helping. Looking wasn't helping either, so she was locked up in their room, clinging to his pillow, praying to the Spirits he wouldn't forget her when he came back.

Then she heard the door. She popped up and ran to see who it was.]

Sokka!

[No one. She felt like an idiot thinking someone came in, but then she heard someone in the kitchen. Her heart felt like it was breaking, wishing so hard it would be him.

In her head she told herself to not get her hopes up, but she wished so hard that it was Sokka, and then she saw him there. The tears returned. She barely noticed the mess he was in because she was so happy to see him.

With tears rolling down her cheeks, she rushed over to Sokka, throwing her arms around him.]

Sokka! Sokka, you're back!

[Offline]

--uki [His mouth is dry, his voice cracking. Sokka clears his throat, and when he rests his hands on Suki, it's gently, as if they've only just parted.] --f 'orse-- [He clears his throat again, but it doesn't seem to help.]

[Carefully, he removes himself from the embrace, grabbing up a cup, motioning he needs a minute; being parched like the desert feels like a smack in the face to a guy belonging to the Water Tribe. He seeks to fix it, almost nonchalant now that Suki has broken his reverie.]

[It felt like she couldn't even breath right now. Her chest raised and lower, but it was like no air was even getting in. She thought Sokka was dead. She thought he would forget about her forever, but he wasn't. He was right here, with her.

She couldn't hold it back anymore. Her eyes shut tightly, tears being forced out.]

I thought you were dead.

Suki-!

[Sokka is missing... She doesn't even want to think about it, losing someone close to her again. But she has to think about it.]

I'll help you look for him.

Usagi?

[She forces herself to smile, but it's a very sad one.]

[She manages an equally small smile, and tries to still be reassuring.]

We'll find him. We'll look absolutely everywhere until we do, alright? So don't worry.

[She nods.]

I'll try. It's hard not to though. Would you like to meet up?
