[Suki looks worried, no, more than worry. She can barely look at the camera right now.]
Has... has anyone seen Sokka? He hasn't been home, and I thought- I thought we already worked through this, but I guess I was wrong. [Annoyance spread across her face.] I've tried contacting him, but he isn't answering... if he...
[Then she stopped

[He goes straight through to the kitchen, not once checking to see if anyone is home here or next door. Welcome to The Stupor, my friends.]

Then she heard the door. She popped up and ran to see who it was.]
Sokka!
[No one. She felt like an idiot thinking someone came in, but then she heard someone in the kitchen. Her heart felt like it was breaking, wishing so hard it would be him.
In her head she told herself to not get her hopes up, but she wished so hard that it was Sokka, and then she saw him there. The tears returned. She barely noticed the mess he was in because she was so happy to see him.
With tears rolling down her cheeks, she rushed over to Sokka, throwing her arms around him.]
Sokka! Sokka, you're back!

[Carefully, he removes himself from the embrace, grabbing up a cup, motioning he needs a minute; being parched like the desert feels like a smack in the face to a guy belonging to the Water Tribe. He seeks to fix it, almost nonchalant now that Suki has broken his reverie.]

She couldn't hold it back anymore. Her eyes shut tightly, tears being forced out.]
I thought you were dead.

[Thirst momentarily quenched, he swallows again and raises an eyebrow at Suki.] Dead? That's-- why would you think that? [And then his eyebrows knit together.] Are you crying? What-- what's the-- Why?

[Then her arms were around him again, clinging to him.]
Can you please stop doing this to me? Do you even know how much it hurts, worrying about you?

[He fixes Suki with a studying look.] Are you feeling okay?

Sokka, you've been missing for a day.

[He chuckles dryly and it's a hollow sort of sound.] That's not right -- it can't be right. [Sokka points to the door.] It was dusk when I left, and it's just now getting really late.

[And now she was starting to worry. He clearly thought he was in the right now, but he wasn't. How could he think that he hadn't been gone for a day? What was wrong with him?
She placed her hand on his cheek, worried and scared.]
Sokka, you've been gone for a day, and not answering any of my calls.
[Please believe her Sokka. She isn't lying.]

That's-- Oh man, that's--
Really? I was gone a whole day? Wow. I just thought... I don't know... something.

Yes, you were. Can you just please tell me what happened? I had things planned, and then you just... disappeared. Where did you go?
[And she did too. She was going to do something special for him, but instead she spent the night worried about him and crying, thinking the worse, instead of being with him and just being in love with him.]

[He leans in and stops short of kissing her cheek.] I'm sorry I worried you. [And then a quick peck, to punctuate his apology.]

I love you. [She whispered it, not expecting him to hear it, but just needing to say it.]
