I decided to post the Topic of the Week today instead of yesterday, so as to give yesterday's flood of news items some breathing room. There's still a lot of week left, after all. *gazes longingly at time horizon, searching for Friday*

Great topic. My UF WIP, all characters do have jobs. They are kept from their jobs at first, due to the happenings going on, and they stress about it.

Then poor, much abused MC gets changed into a vamp, and can't be a church secretary anymore. Bummer. Kicked right out of the ole God Business, you know. So she goes full time in the vamp staking business, getting her money by robbing the dead...I mean, robbing the undead, who are now dead. You know what I mean. It's explained much better in the story. Promise.

I have noticed that a lot of UF the MCs are cops, or vampire slayers, or private detectives, so the story is their job/current case. Works out pretty good, I'd say.
