I've always written what I love to read. I love urban fantasy and paranormal romance because there's an element of surprise to it -- you really are taken into another world full of wonderful and scary things. Great interview! I read BEFORE I WAKE last weekend, and I *loved* it. The depiction of the dream realm was so unique (and I loved that one of the characters was a lucid dreamer, because so am I). :)

I'm so glad you read it, too. I'm a lucid dreamer, too, so maybe that's part of the absolute charm of this book for me.
